Leaders of the two sides at the signing ceremony

Under the cooperation agreement, the parties will jointly develop a specialized robotic surgery training center located at Hue Central Hospital. The center aims to become a leading training institution in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in the field of robotic surgery - one of the prominent development trends in modern medicine.

As part of the implementation roadmap, the partners will collaborate to design standardized training programs for both domestic and international doctors, while transferring advanced robotic technologies, updating new techniques, and promoting in-depth scientific research. The center will serve not only as a training facility but also as an academic hub, connecting experts and contributing to the formation of an international cooperation network in robotic surgery.

In terms of operational structure, Hue Central Hospital will take the lead in clinical activities and human resource training; MicroPort MedBot will be responsible for providing technological solutions, equipment, and technical support; while HFM will coordinate operations and facilitate collaboration among the parties. This clear division of responsibilities is expected to ensure efficiency, synchronization, and sustainability for the project.

The establishment of the Vietnam–China Robotic Surgery Training Center not only creates opportunities for doctors to access advanced medical technologies but also helps improve the quality of healthcare services, bringing practical benefits to the public. At the same time, the project reaffirms the pioneering role of Hue Central Hospital in applying high-tech techniques, gradually positioning Vietnam as a regional hub for high-tech medical development.

In the context of accelerating digital transformation and deepening international integration, the launch of the center is expected to drive innovation, develop high-quality human resources, and contribute to the modernization of the national healthcare system.
