Huong An currently has a total agricultural production area of 609.9 hectares, of which 153.9 hectares are dedicated to vegetables and subsidiary crops. In particular, green onions are considered the spearhead crop of the local vegetable group, covering an area of about 17 hectares. “Small but mighty”, while average rice yields reach about 12 tons/hectare/year, generating a total income value of 80 - 90 million VND/hectare/year, green onions deliver superior economic efficiency, reaching approximately 900 million VND/hectare/year.

Promoting the strengths of a peaceful and prosperous “rural landscape” filled with rice, green onions, and various vegetables, Huong An is aiming to increase the added value of its crops while building agricultural brand name, and developing sustainable agriculture integrated with landscape and experiential tourism.
