| Publications included in Hue Bookcase Project introduced to readers on a previous occasion |
This is one of the key contents in the implementation plan for the project “Establishing and Developing Hue Bookcase” for the 2026 - 2030 period, recently announced by Hue City People's Committee.
According to the plan, the city will organize the collection and registration of book sources, while seeking broad public feedback during the process of evaluating the quality of publications, with the aim of building a Hue Digital Bookcase. In addition, authorities will compile a catalogue and propose as well as select book titles from multiple fields, including both reprints and newly published works, to be included in Hue Bookcase. The compilation and publication of these works will be based on the needs for research, study, and promotion of Hue, as well as the reading demand of the public.
Under the plan, the publication, distribution, and promotion of Hue Bookcase will be carried out annually through 2030. Communication and promotional activities introducing Hue Bookcase will also be intensified, particularly during Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21st) and World Book and Copyright Day (April 23rd), as well as during official receptions for diplomatic delegations, international organizations and partners, and sister localities both in Vietnam and abroad.
