A supervisor monitored the contestants during their competition

The Hue-ICT Challenge is an annual competition first held in 2022. It aims to encourage learning, independent creative research, and the enhancement of teamwork skills while integrating international standards for high school students. It also serves as career orientation for students to choose Information Technology (IT) for their professional development to meet the demand of the IT labor market... Furthermore, the competition creates an environment that fosters creativity and a passion for research in the field of ICT among college and university students in Hue, as well as other provinces and cities nationwide.

This year, the preliminary round saw the participation of 2,503 contestants from 631 secondary and high schools across 34 provinces and cities nationwide. The contestants are divided into three categories: PRO CHALLENGE with 714 contestants; NAÏ CHALLENGE with 865 contestants; and JUNIOR CHALLENGE with 924 contestants. Over a period of 3 hours, the contestants competed simultaneously in their schools' computer labs under the supervision of camera systems and teams of supervisors.

Contestants who qualify for the final round will compete in person at the University of Sciences, Hue University, on March 29.
