| Leaders of Hue Tourism College discussing new directions in career guidance and enrollment for 2026 |
According to leaders of Hue Tourism College, as the tourism sector is recovering and experiencing strong growth after a period of fluctuations, the demand for well-trained tourism personnel with professional skills and the ability to adapt to an international working environment is steadily increasing. Therefore, career guidance and enrollment play an important role in helping students make appropriate career choices, contributing to improving training quality and meeting the workforce demands of the tourism industry.
In 2025, Hue Tourism College coordinated the organization of career festivals and hands-on experiential activities for thousands of students from secondary and high schools. The college also provided direct career counseling at 93 secondary and high schools in Hue and neighboring provinces and cities, supporting guide students in making informed career choices.
In 2026, Hue Tourism College will continue to innovate the content and methods of its career guidance activities. The college will strengthen coordination with secondary and high schools in providing information on vocational education, expand career experience programs for students, and step up enrollment communication efforts. At the same time, it will enhance partnerships with businesses to improve training quality in line with the practical demands of the labor market.
At the conference, leaders of secondary and high schools, along with representatives of businesses and related organizations, exchanged ideas and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of career guidance for general education students. They also emphasized strengthening cooperation between schools and educational institutions in organizing career counseling programs, creating conditions for students to access comprehensive, accurate, and practical information about different professions.
