The city leaders presented flowers to congratulate the festival

Thai Duong Village is one of the ancient villages in Thuan An area, established after the Tran Dynasty took over the O and Ly regions in the 14th century.

Organized according to the custom of “tam nien dao le” (a large-scale festival held every three years) in the years of the Rat, Cat, Horse, and Rooster, the Fish Worshipping Festival is a unique spiritual activity of Thuan An fishermen. It conveys their prayers for favorable weather, calm seas, smooth sailing, and a bountiful harvest.

Maintaining and professionally organizing the Fish Worshipping Festival not only contributes to preserving the cultural heritage of the Thuan An coastal area, but also promotes the image of a friendly and identity-rich Hue, linking preservation with sustainable tourism development.
