Aviation security officers return a misplaced handbag to an Australian tourist

At around 0:35 a.m. on February 19, while on duty at the arrival terminal area, the aviation security force under the Immigration Management Division of Hue City Police received a handbag left behind by a passenger. Upon inspection, the bag was found to contain various personal identification documents, valuables, and essential papers required for foreigners during their stay and travel in Vietnam.

Following a process of verification and contact, Hue City Police successfully reached Mr. H.L. James (Australian nationality), who was traveling in Quang Tri Province at the time, and arranged for the return of the property.

Upon receiving his handbag and documents, Mr. James expressed his emotion and extended his sincere thanks to Hue City Police for their timely support and assistance.

On the same day, Vy Da Ward Police also verified and returned lost property to a local resident in the area.

Previously, Dang Nhat Quang Hieu (born in 2013, residing in Duong No Ward) found a wallet on Nguyen Sinh Cung Street and proactively brought it to Vy Da Ward Police to hand it over for return to its owner.

Vy Da Ward Police conducted verification procedures and contacted the owner, Mr. Bui Quoc Phu (born in 1995, residing in Quang Tri Province). All documents and property inside the wallet were fully returned to him.
