“Royal Tet” is a series of unique cultural activities, designed to recreate the traditional Tet atmosphere in the Nguyen Dynasty’s royal court. The space of the Royal Treasury Palace was elegantly decorated, with artistic lighting, glowing lanterns, and various experiential zones, taking the public on a journey back to Tet customs in the past.

Within the framework of the program, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities coordinated the organization and guidance of various traditional games once popular in the royal court and folk life. These games not only provide entertainment, but also reflect the spiritual and cultural life of people in the past, helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the Nguyen Dynasty’s court life.

While attending the program, Ms. Dong Phuong, a visitor from Nha Trang, shared: “I am very surprised and delighted to participate directly in these activities. Through this, I feel much more clearly the depth of our nation’s culture and history.”
According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the “Royal Tet” program not only offers the public and visitors unique cultural experiences, but also contributes to honoring the heritage values of Hue royal court. By reenacting traditional rituals, games, and customs, the program contributes to evoking the essence of the traditional Tet while spreading the love for heritage to the community, especially younger generations.
