In 2025, despite many difficulties in production and business activities, the City Business Association organized numerous practical activities and achieved noteworthy results.
To date, the association has 13 member associations and clubs with a total of 1.092 members, including 447 enterprises as direct members, while the remainder are members of specialized associations and clubs. The membership network continues to expand, mainly comprising small and medium-sized enterprises operating across various sectors such as manufacturing, trade, services, and technology.
This year, the association coordinated the organization of many training and capacity-building activities on corporate governance, digital transformation, and legal and policy issues, with nearly 1.500 participants. Dialogue activities, business networking, and trade promotion were maintained on a regular basis, contributing to supporting enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness.
In particular, during the prolonged floods at the end of 2025, the association promptly compiled enterprises’ recommendations and proposed support solutions related to taxation, credit, and insurance; at the same time, it implemented many social welfare programs. On this occasion, the association distributed more than 1.000 gift packages, each worth 500.000 VND, to support workers and residents affected by flooding; earlier, the program “Tet for the Poor” also delivered 700 gift packages to disadvantaged households in the area…
In 2026, the City Business Association identifies the continued renewal of content and operational methods toward practicality and effectiveness, with enterprises at the center, as a key orientation. The focus is on improving the quality of activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and member associations and clubs; expanding the membership network, striving to recruit an additional 20 to 30 new members.
The association will concentrate on promoting training to enhance management capacity, digital transformation, and innovation for enterprises; strengthening trade promotion activities, business networking, and support for enterprises to expand markets domestically and internationally. At the same time, it will continue to promote its representative role, participate in policy feedback, and make recommendations to remove difficulties, thereby contributing to improving the investment and business environment.

Many businesses are commended at the conference
Delivering directives at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the City Business Association in 2025, especially its role as a bridge supporting enterprises in overcoming difficult period.
The Vice Chairman requested that the association continue to consolidate its organizational structure and improve the quality of its operations; proactively grasp difficulties and obstacles faced by enterprises in order to promptly make recommendations and propose solutions; and further strengthen support for enterprises in enhancing management capacity, digital transformation, innovation, and market integration.
City leaders confirmed that they will continue to accompany the association and the business community, creating favorable conditions for the association to participate more deeply in the process of policy formulation and feedback, contributing to promoting the city’s economy toward sustainable development.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were honored and commended at both the central and local levels.
