| Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences conducts surveys across all education levels |
The activity is part of the national-level “Improving the institutional framework for education system development to help create momentum for rapid and sustainable national development under new conditions” research task carried out by Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences. The Institute conducted surveys at a number of early childhood education institutions, primary schools, lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, and vocational education -continuing education centers across Hue City.
The objective of the survey is to examine the practical realities of building and implementing institutions for education and training development at the local level, thereby identifying difficulties, limitations, and inadequacies in the implementation process. On that basis, the research team proposes solutions and recommendations to further improve the institutional framework for the development of Vietnam’s education system.
At the workshop, representatives of school administrators and teachers from educational institutions exchanged views and discussed the practical implementation of educational institutions at the local level; shared achievements, experiences, and effective models; and at the same time pointed out difficulties, obstacles, limitations, and shortcomings of the institutional framework during implementation.
In addition to the workshop, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences also conducted questionnaire-based surveys among education sector managers at the Department level and at the commune/ward level, as well as administrators and teachers at schools and vocational education–continuing education centers. The survey results serve as an important basis for further improving the institutional framework for education and training development in the new context.
