The program was held in response to Directive No. 25-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on improving the quality of grassroots healthcare services, and Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the protection, care, and improvement of public health in the new context. It also marked a practical activity celebrating the success of Vietnam Young Physicians Association Congress and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of Hue City for the term of 2025-2030.

Distributing medicines and providing guidance on their proper use to residents

Immediately after the opening ceremony, medical staff and doctors conducted health check-ups, provided consultations, measured blood pressure, screened for several common diseases, and distributed free medicines to residents.

Through the program, many medical conditions were detected at an early stage, helping residents raise awareness of healthcare and proactively prevent diseases. The organizing committee also presented practical gifts to policy families, poor households, and disadvantaged students with good academic performance in the ward.

Leaders of the Department of Health affirmed that in the coming period, the healthcare sector will continue to coordinate with relevant units and localities to organize more meaningful, grassroots-oriented activities, contributing to improving the quality of life and healthcare for the public, especially vulnerable groups.
