Leader of the City Statistics Office shared insights into the statistical data

In 2025, the city implemented its socio-economic development plan amidst numerous difficulties and challenges. However, thanks to decisive solutions, the socio-economic situation achieved positive results. The city's gross regional domestic product in 2025 is estimated to increase by 8.5% year-on-year. Specifically, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector increased by 1.02%, contributing 0.1 percentage points; the industry and construction sector increased by 11.51%, contributing 3.69 percentage points; the service sector increased by 8.17%, contributing 4.02 percentage points; and product taxes less subsidies on products increased by 7.91%, contributing 0.69 percentage points.

The economic structure continued to shift toward reducing the proportion of the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector, while increasing the proportion of the service sector. It is estimated that the total product scale at current prices in 2025 reached 89,591 billion VND, of which the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector accounted for 9.74%, the industry and construction sector accounted for 30.44%, the service sector accounted for 51.35%, and product taxes less subsidies on products accounted for 8.47%.
