This is the second shipment in 2025 as part of the journey to bring Hue’s specialties to international markets, reaffirming the efforts of local businesses in standardizing their products to meet FDA regulations and the strict requirements of distribution systems in the U.S.
This shipment includes key products such as loc cakes, nam cakes, it cakes, and it la gai cakes, all of which have fully completed packaging, labeling, and traceability requirements, and meet international food safety standards. After customs clearance, the products will be for pilot distribution in supermarket chains serving the Vietnamese community, before gradually expanding into mainstream local retail systems.
Mr. Tran Van My, Chairman of Hue Business Association, said that Hue One Food’s continuous improvement of processes, production restructuring, and bold investment in technology has created a fundamental shift. “It is not easy for a traditional product to pass the technical inspections and hygiene standards required by the U.S. market. The company’s young team has achieved something that many local businesses were previously hesitant to pursue,” said Mr. My.

Mr. Tran Van My also emphasized the “dare to think - dare to act” spirit of the company’s board of young leaders, from redesigning production lines and standardizing packaging, to updating export regulations and proactively improving equipment, organizational structure, and personnel. “What matters is not just the second shipment being sent out, but the disciplined, persistent business mindset, one that doesn’t give up in the face of stringent technical requirements. This is a positive sign showing that Hue businesses are fully capable of entering larger markets if they pursue the right strategies,” he said.
According to Hue One Food representatives, the company is continuing to expand its production capacity and maintain stable exports to the U.S. market as well as several other potential markets.
This dispatch ceremony not only marks another milestone for Hue One Food but also helps spread the message of “Bringing Hue Home” - sharing the culinary essence of the Ancient Capital with friends all over the world.
