The landscape embellishment project on the Northern bank of the Huong River overpass is a component of the Nguyen Hoang street and Huong River overpass project, with a total investment of about 50 billion VND and a scale of 4.8 hectares. The project runs along the Kim Long - Nguyen Phuc Nguyen route, aiming to form a new public space in harmony with the existing landscape system.
For the coastal road and the bridge passing over Thuan An estuary, the project has a total complete investment of 3,496 billion VND, with 2,000 billion VND allocated from the Central budget for Phase 1. To date, the construction value has reached over 89.5%, with the bridge section basically complete.
The final inspection points were the resettlement projects, including the Resettlement Area 06 in Vy Da Ward, and the Resettlement Area B5 Thuan An. These projects play a key role in arranging new accommodation for households within the scope of site clearance for large infrastructure projects.
At the inspection points, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan requested the investors, construction units, and local authorities to focus on removing “bottlenecks”, especially problems with site clearance; and at the same time, speeding up the completion of dossiers and procedures.

Emphasizing the urgency of the ongoing projects, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan stated that these are all projects that the public is interested in and has expectations for. Therefore, the progress, safety, and construction quality must be given top priority. Concurrently, resettlement projects need to be rapidly prioritized, ensuring the relocation and stable life of the people, based on the principle that “the new place of residence must be better than the old one.”
Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan affirmed that the city will continue to closely monitor the progress, regularly inspect the sites, and promptly handle emerging issues. The common goal is to have the projects completed on schedule, effectively utilize their benefits, contribute to creating a new urban appearance, and a driving force for the city's development in the coming period.
