Doctors from the ADM-VN Organization introducing eyeglasses to residents

The program is expected to serve more than 500 residents from the wards of Phong Thai, Phong Dien, Phong Dinh, and Phong Phu (Hue City), as well as Hai Lang Commune (Quang Tri Province). Priority groups include the elderly, low-income households, and policy beneficiary families, all selected based on lists submitted by local authorities. Thanks to this process, the support is directed toward groups that often face difficulties in accessing healthcare services, especially eye care.

At the examination site, residents received checkups, refractive error measurements, and in-depth consultations from ophthalmologists of Hue Central Hospital - Base 2 and technicians from ADM-VN. Patients in need were provided eyeglasses completely free of charge, with prescriptions tailored to their refractive errors and visual conditions.

The activity carries profound humanitarian significance, helping improve vision and reduce the risk of visual impairment among residents, especially as eye-related conditions become increasingly common. The program continues to strengthen the more than 25-year cooperative relationship between HCH and ADM-VN, opening up prospects for additional community healthcare initiatives in the Central region in the coming time.
