| Engineers and lecturers from Hue Industrial College are repairing electrical equipment, electronic appliances, and refrigeration equipment |
It’s known that, Hue Industrial College has launched the program titled “Free Repair of Electrical, Electronic, and Refrigeration Appliances” to help residents fix appliances damaged by flooding (without replacing parts). The initiative follows the college’s earlier free motorbike repair program, continuing its efforts to support Hue residents in overcoming post-flood hardships.
Repairs will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Hue Industrial College, No. 70 Nguyen Hue Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City. Additionally, the college will also organize mobile repair teams to assist elderly residents living alone and policy beneficiary families across Hue City.
According to the leaders of Hue Industrial College, the school also continues to carry out various post-flood community support activities, such as distributing essential goods, including rice, instant noodles, clean water, milk, blankets, raincoats, and flashlights, as well as providing medicine, preventive healthcare, and post-flood disease control consultations for around 500 households. The college will also offer financial assistance and gift packages to severely affected families and disadvantaged students, with about 100-200 portions of gifts.
In particular, during this major flood, the school is organizing free repair services for motorbikes and electric bicycles, with an expected from 500 to 1,000 cases; and, free repair of water-damaged household appliances such as rice cookers, pumps, fans, electric stoves, refrigerators, and washing machines… with an estimated from 400 to 1,000 items. Additionally, the college will deploy teams of engineers and skilled students to provide mobile repair support for around 50 households, including elderly residents living alone and policy beneficiary families.
