The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Standing Vice President and General Secretary of Vietnam Young Doctors Association, along with leaders of various departments, agencies, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and a large number of residents.
Speaking at the event, the leader of Hue Central Hospital emphasized the profound humanitarian significance of the activity, reflecting the spirit of “Young Doctors for Community Health”, contributing to the realization of Resolution 20 on strengthening the protection, care, and improvement of public health in the new context.
Within the framework of the program, over 40 doctors, nurses, and technicians from both branches of Hue Central Hospital, together with young doctors from Hue City, provided free medical examinations, consultations, and screenings for over 1,100 residents. Professional activities included general internal medicine check-ups, specialized cardiovascular - kidney - diabetes examinations, blood pressure measurement, electrocardiograms, echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound, blood tests, rapid tests, and health risk assessments via an electronic questionnaire at www.caremeyeulayminh.com. Furthermore, the program presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy-beneficiary families, and disadvantaged children.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Standing Vice President of Vietnam Young Doctors Association, highly appreciated the efforts of the young medical professionals and the support of Hue Central Hospital in delivering community healthcare. He emphasized that early detection of non-communicable diseases is an essential trend in preventive medicine, helping to reduce the burden of treatment and mortality caused by cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney conditions, and metabolic disorders.
The “CAREME - Love Yourself, For a Healthier Vietnam” program received strong support from the community, helping to spread the message of proactively preventing cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic diseases, conditions that are currently at the Top of the leading causes of death and disability.
