Dental Check-up and Oral Care for children |
The program was carried out for 120 individuals currently being cared for at Hue City Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund. It aimed to provide practical attention to oral health and contribute to improving their quality of life.
In the framework of the program, doctors and medical staff conducted general dental check-ups, performed simple fillings for cavities, applied fluoride for cavity prevention, removed tartar and offered guidance on daily oral care and hygiene. These activities not only offered immediate support for oral health but also provided knowledge and fostered good habits of self-care in dental hygiene.
The representative of Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital stated that the program not only focuses on treatment but also emphasizes education and prevention, aiming to reduce the risk of common oral diseases. This is also one of the initiatives that concretizes the goal of comprehensive healthcare, helping members at the center achieve brighter smiles and greater confidence in their studies and daily life.
With the motto “Joining hands in oral health care - Spreading love for community smiles”, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital affirmed its commitment to expanding community dentistry programs at various institutions, especially those with children and vulnerable groups in need of care. Through these efforts, the healthcare sector aims not only to improve health but also to foster a compassionate living environment, spreading a spirit of sharing and community responsibility.
