Children must be safeguarded in the digital age

In the context of Industry 4.0, the online environment offers many benefits but also presents significant risks for students, such as: exposure to harmful content, misuse of personal data, cyberbullying, online scams, and the risk of internet addiction. Children, as a vulnerable group, need to be equipped with self-protection skills, while schools, families, and society must work together to build a safe and healthy online environment.

Staff and teachers were provided with knowledge on information security, personal data protection, and skills for creating safe learning and recreational spaces for students. This helps raise awareness of the importance of information security in education, enabling staff and teachers to better guide and protect children from online risks.

The workshop also emphasized the crucial role of close cooperation between schools, families, and society in protecting children, thereby laying the foundation for their comprehensive physical and mental development in the digital era.
