| Visiting the natural history exhibition sections and specimens at the Exhibition Room |
The Natural History Exhibition Room was invested in and built on a land that was granted to the Center for Conservation of Vietnam natural resources and rescue of animals and plants in Phong Dien Ward (former Phong My Commune) by Hue City. The initial area was 17.5 hectares, with the first phase being already operational on approximately 16.8 hectares. The second phase is planned to expand the site with an area of158.2 hectares.
The Natural History Exhibition Room is organized into 9 exhibition sections: The history of life on Earth, minerals, insects, plants, animals, large reptiles, birds, marine life, and anthropology. More than just a display of specimens, the Exhibition Room can be seen as a “living book” about the Earth's developmental history. It vividly recreates the evolutionary process of life through fossils, minerals, and plants, animals, and marine life specimens.
