According to the Department of Tourism, in the first eight months of 2025, Hue received an estimated 4,6 million tourists, up 68% compared to the same period last year. Of this total, international tourists were estimated at nearly 1.3 million, an increase of more than 39%, while domestic reached more than 3.3 million, up nearly 83%.
The number of staying guests also recorded positive growth, with more than 1,7 million, up 24,5% compared to the same period last year. Among them, international staying guests were estimated at more than 483.000, an increase of 9%. Tourism revenue was estimated at over 8.740 billion VND, rising more than 57%.
In August 2025 alone, Hue welcomed nearly 594.300 visitors, more than 50% increase compared to the same month last year. Of these, international arrivals were estimated at more than 83.880, an increase of 25,5%, while domestic arrivals reached nearly 51.400, up more than 55%.
France is currently leading the international tourist market to Hue, with nearly 64.200 visitors in eight months, accounting for 13,5% of the international market share. The United States followed with nearly 45.200 tourists (9.5%), and the United Kingdom with more than 36.200 (7,6%).
