This information has just been announced by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, based on the Official Dispatch No. 11918/UBND-CN on August 29, 2025 of Hue City People’s Committee.
The festival this year is held at Hai Cat Village Communal House, the Holy Mother Temple (No. 352 Chi Lang St.), and Hue Nam Temple. Hue Monuments Conservation Center will implement various measures to regulate and guide activities, ensuring safety, order, and maintaining a respectful atmosphere at the heritage site during the peak days of the festival.
Hue Nam Temple Festival annually takes place in Lunar March and July. This is a cultural and spiritual event associated with the worship of the Holy Mother Thien Y Ana. This is also one of the events contributing to preserving and developing the values of the Mother Goddess Worship of the Three Palaces, an intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO.
The highlight of this festival is the procession of the Holy Mother by dragon boats on the Huong River, featuring the palanquin of the Holy Mother, the box of royal decrees, and traditional royal scepters. This creates a sacred and vibrant atmosphere, attracting a great number of worshippers and domestic and international visitors.
