The handover and acceptance ceremony took place on the afternoon of August 19th, with the attendance of representatives from local agencies and researchers.

The artifacts handed over this time were categorized into various material groups such as paper, wood, stone, plastic, textiles, leather, metal, and ceramics, etc. They are vivid historical evidence and cultural heritage that embody the land and people of Hue, preserved and passed down through generations.

These artifacts were originally part of Hue Museum of Culture. Following multiple stages of merger and reorganization, they came under the management of Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center before being formally handed over to Hue City Museum of History.

Once brought into Hue City Museum of History, these documents and artifacts will further enrich the museum’s existing collections, serving research and future exhibitions. In doing so, the museum fulfills its function and duty as a local research museum in the collection, preservation, research, and promotion of cultural heritage values.
