Art lovers contemplating the artworks at the exhibition “Thien Vu”

The exhibition was inaugurated on the evening of August 16 at the space of Lan Vien Co Tich 2 (part of the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery), No. 94-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward), with the participation of numerous friends and art enthusiasts.

In the cozy exhibition space overlooking Dong Ba River, over 20 acrylic artworks by the female painter offered viewers an inspiring experience. Each piece unfolds as a dialogue, not only between the artist and nature, but also between viewers and the universe. They may appear as dreamy patches of color, yet also carry depths of melancholy and turbulence, depending on each individual’s experience.

Doan Quynh Nhu shared that painting came to her like a kind of fruit that, after many days of sun, wind, and rain, gradually ripens and ferments - a natural process.

Doan Quynh Nhu was born in 1978. She grew up by the Thach Han River (Quang Tri) and has maternal roots in Bao Vinh, Hue. She once studied culture and tourism in Hue and experienced various occupations before settling in Germany in 2010. In addition to painting, her name is also associated with poetry and screenwriting.

The exhibition opens until August 23.
