Leaders of the city and local departments joining the marathon together with a large number of runners 
Members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Permanent Vice Chairman of City People’s Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Chairwoman of the City’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the City People’s Council; Mr. Phan Quy Phuong - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee; and Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, along with leaders of several other departments and agencies, joined the marathon alongside the runners.

Starting from 4:00 am, thousands of runners gathered at the southern side of Nguyen Hoang Bridge (Thuan Hoa Ward) - the start and finish point – to warm up and take the opportunity to check-in, and capture memorable moments in the space being used for the first time to host a large-scale community sports event.

With the race distance of 4.3km for all ages and the distance of 9.2km for the runners aged 16 and above, the changes to the running route, highlighted by Nguyen Hoang Bridge and various shady roads of Kim Long and Thuan Hoa Wards, brought interesting experiences to running lovers.

As a community-oriented event that does not emphasize competition or rankings, Hueba Jogging 2025 truly served as a festival that connected Hue locals and Hue business community through a healthy sports environment, helping to spread a spirit of positivity.

“Hueba Jogging 2025 creates an additional opportunity to promote the image of Hue’s heritage and people through sports activities. From here, the image of the former imperial capital as green, clean, safe, and dynamic continues to spread throughout the community, helping bring Hue closer to friends both domestically and internationally,” shared Mr. Tran Van My - Chairman of Hue City Business Association and Head of the Organizing Committee.
