| Presenting bicycles to students |
Through fundraising efforts by Hue City Union of Friendship Organizations, Children of Vietnam (COV) - a U.S.-based non-governmental organization operating in Vietnam - sponsored 50 bicycles, each valued at 2 million VND, with a total cost of 100 million VND.
The Union of Friendship Organizations presented 25 bicycles to boys and 25 to girls currently enrolled in secondary schools throughout the city, aiming to support transportation for students in need.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative from the Department of Education and Training expressed gratitude for the support provided by the organizations. The gift is not only of material value but also a source of encouragement, motivating the students to overcome hardships and continue their studies.
This is a meaningful action, contributing to inspiring disadvantaged students while also reflecting the spirit of sharing and social responsibility within the community toward future generations.
