Candidates completed exam procedures and listened to exam regulations

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam takes place over two days from June 26 to 27. In Hue City, 13,946 candidates registered to take the exam, including 504 independent candidates. On the afternoon of June 25, 13,844 candidates (over 99.25%) across the city were present to complete the exam procedures at the exam sites.

The city organized 39 exam sites; among them, the exam site at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School includes 13 exam rooms for candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program. The 2018 General Education Program has 38 exam sites with 602 exam rooms. The city mobilized 1,778 people (excluding police, security, medical, and service personnel) to supervise the exam.

For the 2006 General Education Program, candidates will take the exam over four sessions. On the morning of June 26, they will take Literature test (120 minutes), and on the afternoon of June 26, they will take Mathematics test (90 minutes). On the morning of June 27, candidates will be tested on subjects in the natural sciences combination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and social sciences combination (History, Geography, Civic Education), all lasting 50 minutes. On the afternoon of June 27, they will take Foreign Language test (60 minutes).

For the 2018 General Education Program, the exam is organized with fewer sessions and fewer subjects. Candidates will take two compulsory subjects (Literature and Mathematics) and choose two elective subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics and Law Education, Informatics, Technology, and Foreign Language. Accordingly, on the morning of June 26, they will take Literature test (120 minutes), and on the afternoon of June 26, they will take Mathematics test (90 minutes). On the morning of June 27, candidates will take the elective subject tests consisting of two subjects, each lasting 50 minutes.

To ensure the best possible exam, preparations have been meticulously carried out. The national and city-level exam Steering Committees organized numerous inspection teams to ensure that all preparation stages regarding human resources and facilities met the requirements, being ready for a safe, serious, objective, and fair exam.

According to regulations, candidates should be present at the exam site around 6:30 AM; at 7:30 AM, the invigilators will distribute the exam papers, and the exam time will start 5 minutes later. If candidates arrive 15 minutes late from the official start time of the exam, they will not be allowed to enter the exam site.

In the afternoon, candidates will take the Mathematics test in multiple-choice format, with a duration of 90 minutes.
