At 2025 National Team Selection Exam for International and Regional Olympiads, the Ministry of Education and Training selected 8 students to participate in the 25th Asian Physics Olympiad. After the results of this competition were announced, the Ministry further selected 5 students from this group to represent Vietnam in the International Physics Olympiad.
The selection of students for the International Physics Olympiad is based on the combined scores of two competitions, including the National Team Selection Exam for International and Regional Olympiads and the Asian Physics Olympiad.
In addition to Tran Le Thien Nhan, the Vietnamese national team participating in the International Physics Olympiad also includes 4 other students: Nguyen The Quan (from Nghe An), Nguyen Cong Vinh (from Bac Ninh), Truong Duc Dung and Ly Ba Khoi (from Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
The International Physics Olympiad will be held in Paris, France, in July 2025.
