Taking place within 3 days, from April 27 to 29, this year’s conference focused on climate issues. 10 years after the adoption of Paris Agreement at COP21, local authorities all over the world have unanimously committed to combat climate change and they are working together to carry out specific solutions whose effectiveness has already been recognized.

Accordingly, a number of topics were organized and discussed, including the seminar on “Heritage and Sustainable Tourism”, workshop and commitment of the city “Responding to climate emergency”, “Tangible heritage and development policies”, etc. Furthermore, this gathering in Hue also marked the moment to celebrate AIMF, which in 2025 will commemorate its 45th anniversary of the Association’s establishment, the 35th anniversary of the Fund for Cooperation, and the 30th anniversary of becoming the Coordinating Body of the Francophone Community.

AIMF has done its mission well, creating a solid connection between member cities and Francophone and International partner organizations.
