| Introducing visitors to the natural resource values at the museum |
Established in 2009, the museum officially opened its exhibition space in 2020. After years of collection and preservation, the museum now houses more than 4,500 specimens across six major categories: geology & minerals, fish, insects, wildlife, forest wood, and captive-bred butterflies. These exhibits provide visitors insights into biodiversity and its value.
Since its opening, the museum has attracted researchers, organizations, projects, students, and visitors from both within and outside the city, as well as international groups to learn, study, experience and support its development. It has also partnered with local universities to facilitate scientific research and provide hands-on learning experiences for students using real-life specimens at the museum. These activities serve as a bridge for public education and awareness about natural resources and conservation efforts.
