Delegates and artists at the opening ceremony of the art creation camp. |
The event is jointly organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, Hue Fine Arts Association, and University of Arts (Hue University) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hue's liberation (March 26th, 1975 - March 26th, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19th, 1890 - May 19th, 2025).
The art camp brings together 20 artists, including painters, sculptors, lecturers, and ceramic art enthusiasts from Hue. Over the course of two months, participants will have the opportunity to conduct field research, create artworks, and take part in the exhibition on May 19th, 2025, marking 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.
The organizing committee believes that, with their creativity, talent, and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh, Hue’s visual artists will produce valuable and aesthetically significant works that reflect both contemporary perspectives and traditional artistic sensibilities. These works will serve as a special bridge to deepen public understanding of Ho Chi Minh's life, career, and cultural legacy, particularly among younger generations.
