The ASEAN University Network was established in 1995 with the aim of promoting cooperation and improving the quality of higher education in the region. In particular, the AUN-QA quality assurance system applies strict assessment criteria to recognize the training quality of universities. Participating in AUN-QA accreditation not only demonstrates the determination to improve the quality of the University of Education, Hue University, but also opens up opportunities for the university's Mathematics Teacher Education program to be recognized regionally and internationally.

The AUN-QA set of standards version 4.0 sets strict requirements for training programs, resources, and learning outcomes. This requires the university to constantly improve and get perfected to meet quality criteria, while enhancing local and national educational capacity. Achieving the AUN-QA certification will facilitate international cooperation, student and faculty exchanges, and enhance the university's reputation in the region and around the world.
